LETS GET BACK TO BIZNESS....

Aiight so I know I haven't been postin much over the past couple of days with all that was going on with the death of Michael Jackson and the B.E.T. awards.

I was actually in L.A. for the awards and saw some very exciting things...I just needed a blog break...Didn't really feel like doing any posts once I got out there. But I definitely saw and heard some very interesting stuff while I was there.

Here are a few things that I know for a fact went down while I was out there.

#1 The ATL housewives stayed in my hotel the entire weekend. I got a chance to chop it up briefly with Ne Ne and she told me about the upcoming seasons which starts on June 30th and that Bravo plans to create a new show just for her.



The ladies all seemed to be pretty civil towards each other during the entire weekend, and looked pretty damn good heading out to the awards too.



#2 Day 26 also stayed in the hotel...All I'm gonna say is that there was a lot of skiny legged jeans...hip twisting...and suspicious lookin characters in their camp...Nuff said!!!!

#3 Chris Brown's mom was also in the hotel...I got a chance to speak with her the day before the awards. At this point there were rumors circulating that Breezy was going to perform. As we were standing in the elevator, I asked her flat out where Chris was and if he was going to perform at the show. She answered "We don't know yet...Chris is in the studio recording right now." So obviously it was never confirmed that Brown was going to be a performer, and as we all know he did not make the cut for the final dedication to MJ.

#4 Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz ALSO stayed in the hotel I was in. Pretty interesting story here....

I was standing outside next to Swizz, his dad, his oldest son, and who I assume to be a nanny carrying his youngest son. Well as we're standing outside, Chris Brown's mom comes out and gives Swizz a hug. They small talk for a few minutes and she walks away. After she walks away Swizz's son looks up to him and says "Dad...is that Alicia's mom." Swizzy hit him with the "Nah...Nah...Nah" and glanced at me to see if I heard what the boy said. That was probably one of the funniest moments of the entire weekend.

R.I.P. TO THE KING...

Michael Jackson passed away earlier today after suffering a massive heart attack...

MICHAEL JACKSON SUFFERS HEART ATTACK

TMZ is reporting that The King of Pop slipped into cardiac arrest a few hours ago. According to the site, Mike was rushed to the hospital by an ambulance and was not breathing when they arrived.

REAL HOUSEWIVES OF ATL IS COMIN BACK...

The Housewives of Atlanta are set to bring their drama back to our TV's later this summer. Bravo's hottest show will return for it's second season on July 30th. All of the ladies from last season will be returning with the exception of Deshawn Snow who was replaced by former Xscape member Kandi Burruss.

By the look of this preview that Bravo released, NeNe will be the stand out housewife on this season. I'm sure there will be plenty of drama to go around on this season especially with all of the evictions and foreclosures that went on during the off season.

YOUNG JEEZY PREMIERES "24, 23" IN VELVET ROOM

This song has the innanets in quite a frenzy. Well, in the video you get to see Jeezy premiering "24,23"(Kobe, Lebron) in Atlanta's Velvet Nightclub. This is the joint that Jeezy dropped that disses Gucci Mane and OJ Da Jew Mane. Funny thing is that Gucci was actually in the club the night this song was played.

CHARLAMAGNE TRIES TO PUT CASSIE ON BLAST

Some of you may remember Charlamagne from his days as the co host on The Wendy Williams Experience. Well Charlamagne has his own show in Philly now and had a interview with singer Cassie. The controversial radio host did his best to rattle Cassie by telling her she was "talentless" and lives in a "Beyonce and Rihanna world" Interesting interview, and it's good to see that Cassie maintained her composure for the duration of it.

OWNER OF WORLD STAR HIP HOP WORKING WITH THE GOVERNMENT?!?!?!

You know that you are successful when Bill O'Reilly goes on a crusade to shut down whatever it is that you are doing. Well the guy who owns World Star Hip Hop has found his way onto O'Reilly's radar due to the random acts of fuckery videos on the site that depict violence, drug use, and people just incriminating themselves for no reason.

O'Reilly and his guest speak about the site and how the owner has been "working with the government" to capture individuals who are engaging in criminal activity.

THE WAR OF THE JONSES...

Nas and Kelis are going hard at this whole divorce thing. According to TMZ, Kelis is complaining that Nas has not given her any type of financial support in the last few months.

Mrs. Jones has told the courts that Nas has not helped her maintain the lifestyle that she had while the couple was married.

Kelis claims estranged hubby Nas has left her high and dry ... not offering her a penny in the wake of her impending birth ... and she says she's broke -- "I have run out of money."

Kelis is asking the judge to order Nas to pay spousal support, child support, all pregnancy-related expenses, and one-half of all medical expenses after the child is born. She also wants $3,500 for the baby nurse after the child's birth, and $20,000 for strollers, cribs and other baby supplies.

Kelis says, "My survival is based on [Nas'] will at this time. If he does not want to pay for an expense, it does not get paid." The couple was married in 2003. The baby is due this month.

I know the beef can be kinda thick when you goin through a breakup, but Nasir aint playing no games right now...Keep in mind Kelis is like 8 months pregnant...SMH!

HANGING WIT UNIQUE...

The good homie Unique from VH1's For The Love of Ray J came into town over the weekend...I got a chance to kick it with her for a few hours before we hosted a party together at The Ultra Lounge nightclub. Here is a quick pic that we took, and some video footage from the party.

Seems as though fans can't get enough of Lil Dewayne. After being tour for the majority of this year, Dewayne is about to hit the road again with the Young Money Presents: America’s Most Wanted Music Festival. CLIPSE GET HEAVY HITTERS TO HELP CASKET DROP

The Brothers Thornton are preparing to release their third CD later on this year. After leaking the street single "Kinda Like A Big Deal" a month or so ago, the duo are getting all of their Hip Hop ducks lined up for what is shaping up to be a very balanced and diverse sounding Clipse CD.

Pusha T recently spoke about his thoughts on the direction of the new project, and the all star cast that we can expect to hear when we pick up When The Casket Drops.

"I mean production by the Neptunes, features from Keri Hilson, Kanye West, Cam'ron, Pharrell," Pusha said in an interview. "We just put together an amazing album and I'm really happy about that." Other names attached to the album include Timbaland, Scott Storch, P. Diddy and Danjahandz

The beef between Kelis and Nas seems to be getting uglier and uglier by the day. Vibe magazine's new publication 'The Most' explores the tumultuous relationship in it's premiere issue.

Rumors of Nas throwin a drinkin Kelis' face hit the internet over the weekend, and late last week Kelis hit up Twitter to air out her grievances about cheating men and their other women.

It’s bad enough that Nas supposedly threw a glass of Patron in Kelis’ face before abandoning her at a London club, if all the sordid-but-juicy details about their split in The MOST!, Vibe’s new tabloid, are correct. Beyonce graces the cover of Forbes magazine's June issue. The mag recently published it's "Forbes Celebrity 100" list in which Bey landed the number 4 spot due to the $87 milly that she earned last year. Tours, CD sales, and endorsements with companies like Nintendo, L'Oreal, and Giorgio Armani all accounted for Bey's income.

Bey's husband Jay-Z dropped down to number 32 on the list by making about half the amount that Mrs. Carter made.

Kimora announced the name of her new baby boy via her twitter page earlier today.

The baby's name is Kenzo Lee Hounsou. The name has Japanese origin and means "wise and three." This of course is Kimora's third child.

FREEWAY SIGNS TO CASH MONEY...OMARION SIGNS TO YOUNG MONEY

The Philadelphia Freeway has confirmed reports that he has signed a deal with Baby and Ronald William's Cash Money Records.

Free says that the deal is still in it's early stages and has been approved by his former boss Jay-Z.

"I been f*cking with Cash Money," he said in an interview. "You know, me and Wayne did a joint for the last album, but we couldn't get the sh*t cleared in time and all that. DEF JAM HEAVYWEIGHTS PREPARE FOR TOUR

Def Jam has put together a tour for three of it's hottest artists. Rick Ross, Juelz Santana, and Fabolous will be hitting the road together next month. No word on tour dates, or what the name of the tour will actually be, but it should be a good look for these three to hit the stage in your town.

KIMORA HAD HER BABY

Lets all give a big round of applause to Kimora Lee Simmons and her new Baby Daddy Djimon Hounsou...The couple welcomed their first child together into the world over the weekend.

Saturday Kimora gave birth to her first son. Not only did she give birth, but she twitted while doing so. Kinmora kept her followers up to speed on the delivery by giving updates on Twitter.
One of the tweets said "Having contractions now! Ooo-wee! It’s like WHOA!”"
