According to People Magazine...Whitney and Bobby I mean Ike and Tina Damnit...Mary J. and K-C okay fine...Smackdown Brown and Rihana are back together like one big happy domestically violent couple.

SMACK DOWN BROWN'S COURT DATE DELAYED * RIHANA RELAXES IN MEXICO
Looks like the District Attorney's office is having trouble putting together a strong case against Chris Breezy.
A statement from Los Angeles district attorney spokeswoman Jane Robison reads, "We don’t have the evidence yet. (Los Angeles police detectives) are still investigating. If (detectives) determine they need more time they’ll set a new date for him (Brown) to come into court.
"He only has to come back if and when we file charges."
Rihanna was thought to have fled to her native Barbados to avoid press attention following the alleged attack - but it has now been revealed that the singer has been enjoying a sunshine break in a private beachside villa in Punta Mita, Mexico, according to the New York Daily News.
I'm gonna step out there and say that these trumped up charges won't ever see the inside of a court room.

CLIPSE WORKING W/ RICK RUBIN FOR NEW CD
Hip Hop legend Rick Rubin has hit the studio with the brothers Thornton to record tracks for their upcoming CD "Till The Casket Drops." Rubin was a strong supporter of Clipse, and is partly responsible for their current label situation with Columbia Records.
Questions about Clipse relationship with the label started to pop up last month after their A & R and former Rocafella Records executive Kyambo "Hip Hop" Joshua was fired from the company's urban department due to budget cuts. Joshua was responsible for signing both Clipse and Jim Jones to the label. Recording with Ruben pretty much assures that the VA duo will be releasing that project this year as anticipated.
Rubin has already completed one song with Clipse, and will probably be recording one or two more in the next few weeks. The first single 'Kinda Like Big Deal' was produced by DJ Khalil and features Kanye West.

Bryan Dalrimple is on the run with his two year old son and police are looking for him. One woman has already been arrested for the crimes.

LISA WU-HARTWELL SUES KEITH SWEAT FOR CUSTODY
Late last week, my favorite Atlanta Housewife Lisa Wu-Hartwell filed for full custody of the two children she shares with Keith Sweat.
A court order that was filed in September of 2003 granted Sweat with full custody of the couple's two sons as a part of their divorce settlement. The two children, Jordan Sweat (14) and Justin Sweat(11) have lived with their father since then, but Lisa has very liberal visitation rights.
Since the divorce settlement, Lisa has remarried and had another child with former NFL player Ed Hartwell.
Details about the case can be found below:
The best interest of the minor children will be served by modifying the current custody and visitation provisions to make Mother the primary physical condition of the minor children,” according to the court papers filed with the Superior Court of Fulton County. “Since the time of the Divorce Decree, Mother has remarried, owns a successful business and will provide a stable, loving, and nurturing environment in which she can raise the minor children.”
She is seeking “primary physical custody and joint legal custody with final decision-making on all issues regarding the minor children.” She will “reasonably engage Father in good faith discussions before any final decisions are made concerning the children?s welfare.” The two children are Jordan Sweat, age 14, and Justin Sweat, age 11.
If she does get custody, she requests child support as well.
In 2003, Sweat received primary custody of the children. According to the final divorce decree written by Fulton Superior Court judge Cynthia D. Wright, Sweat and Wu Hartwell married in 1992 and had the judge termed at the time an “extremely tumultuous relationship.” Wright wrote that “there is evidence that Father has been violent towards Mother, but no evidence he has ever been violent with any of his children.”
The judge felt the children at the time “lacked structure in their lives, due in substantial part to Mother’s numerous business ventures and frequent trips out of town … Mother has a history of spending money on herself excessively rather than providing for the children … There was some evidence at trial that Mother implicitly participated in robbing Father in the presence of the children. She also took money from Father prior to the initiation of this matter. This behavior causes the Court to question Mother’s maturity and judgment.”
Although Sweat, too, travels frequently, the decree said Sweat?s mom helped care for the children. “Father is capable of providing a stable, secure home environment for the boys where their care is not delegated to random third parties,” the judge wrote.
I think this is going to get ugly just in time for the cameras to start rolling for the new season...How convenient!!!

Pain was supposed to perform at the Carnival celebration on Monday, but the promoter canceled the show after he was notified that death threats were being sent via email and telephone.

Solange Knowles who is a twitter ADDICT was twitting on an airplane prior to almost overdosing on Nyquil. Last week Solange was tweeting about feeling under the weather and fighting a cold. During a flight from New York, Solange was updating her twitter and nursing her cold at the same time. After taking the medicine, her tweets started to get a little weird, and hours later Solange reemerged on the social networking site while in the hospital being seen by a doctor.

pills on a flight out of New York on Tuesday night (17Feb09).
Beyonce’s younger sister was treated by medics after taking the capsules onboard a plane and suffering an adverse reaction to the medication.
Her muddled mental state was laid bare in a series of bizarre postings on social networking website Twitter.com which she uploaded during the journey.
But three hours into the trip, her messages suddenly stopped after she complained of feeling sleepy - and three hours later she logged back on to the website to tell fans: “Woaah…… How’d I end up in the hospital?”
Knowles is believed to have been heading back to her home in Los Angeles after attending the opening of an Armani store in New York on Tuesday evening.
In a series of Twitter postings during the flight, she told fans how she had swallowed NyQuil tablets to treat a cold.
She wrote: “I took a nyquil and i think maybe im getting high off it because im not sleeping. maybe i should close my eyes…”
Minutes later she added, “think im certified loosing (sic) it on nyquil. going to sleep before i start freestyling on the plane… omg (Oh my God) i didnt know nyquil could do this to you. i took the pills tho. cant stomach cough syrup. trying to be proactive on this flight.”
She then added: “Never taking nyquil again. I feel so weird.”
The singer left further apparently random messages about various musicians and having “freezing” feet, before a break of three hours.
She then logged on again and wrote: “Woaah…… How’d I end up in the hospital? Woke up to 8 random people over me, laid out on the floor in baggage claim!… Guess I passed out! Scary. Hooked up to IV now . Apparantly I’m super dehydrated.
“I’ve never passed out before. S**t was like the movies. People standing over me saying ‘hello’… My mom is the best. LOL (laugh out loud). She’s like ‘Ain’t nothing wrong with this girl, she need some water and rest… Pull up the car!’ LOL
“I’m like still in shock. I’ve never passed out before. Think it was the nyquil too. I felt weird when I woke up. This has been the day from hell. I’m done with the second IV. I just want to get in the bed and lay with (son) Julez. That’s all I want.
The singer later confirmed she had been released following treatment, writing: “I’m out! yay!… they let me go….. Rest. Water. Rest. Water.”

KANYE TALKS BLUEPRINT 3
Ye talked with MTV news about the status of Jay Z's new project entited Blueprint 3. The CD was supposed to come out last year, but Jay has said that he has not been in a rush to record new songs for the CD. Ye confirmed that the CD is almost complete and he has handled most of the production.
"I finished his album and he released four songs that were potentially gonna be on the album," West said last week on Sway and King Tech's "Wake Up Show."
"So I gotta go back and do four. I just did one beat the other day in Hawaii — probably one of the best hip-hop beats of all time, if I do say so myself. I just gotta do three more beats and we're done, 'cause he's got classics. He's got songs that are better than any of the things you've heard leaked."
"You know what it was — every year I do two albums' worth of really dope beats," he explained.
No release date has been given for BP 3, but Kanye said that two of the joints that he did called "Everyday a Star is Born" and "Forever Young" will appear on the disc.

SUGE GETS HIS WIG SPLIT AGAIN!!!
Suge Knight had to be treated for broken bones in his face over the weekend after a man who was in Akon's entourage knocked the sh*t outta attacked him earlier this morning.
Before the fight started, police officers were called to the scene by hotel employees. When they arrived, the officers witnessed Robert Carnes Jr. punching Suge in the face. Suge had to be taken to the hospital and treated for his injuries, while Carnes was charged with one count of felony aggravated assault.
Maybe all these ass whuppins will convince Suge to tell us where Tupac is hiding.

Police in Dallas TX have charged evangelist TD Jakes son Jermaine with indecent exposure.
Jakes was arrested after pulling out his cock in front of two undercover police officers in a park last month. According to the police report, Jermaine was walking in an area known for homosexual prostitution when he approached the two cops and pulled out his member and began to masturbate in front of them.
After being released, Jermaine's attorney released a statement saying "We are aware of potential allegations involving Jermaine Jakes and are undertaking our own investigation of these allegations at this time. Given an apparent government investigation, we have no further comment at this time."

Add Vibe Magazine to the list of companies hit hard by this recession.
The monthly Hip Hop publication has released a statement announcing that they will be reducing circulation and cutting back employee's hours.
Beginning March 1, staffers will be asked to work four days per week, and have their salaries slashed 10 to 15 percent, according to a Vibe spokesperson. Vibe will cut its guaranteed rate base 25 percent in July to 600,000 copies (down from 800,000). The monthly magazine is also trimming its frequency to 10 times per year.
This is crazy...These economic hardships seem to be hitting everybody. Even though I feel like blogs were the beginning of the end for the magazines, I still would never have expected Vibe to be doing this bad.

Aight, so you know that I know people who know people....A well placed source within the Chris Brown camp hit my homie Reka J with a "SCENARIO" that resembles what happened Saturday night in L.A. between Chris and Rihanna. The source couldn't come out and say exactly what happened, but I'll damned if he/she didn't dish the dirt about the two people involved in this "scenario"
My sources round about way of telling me the truth . . .
Let me give you a scenario about something that a friend of mine recently went through: He was dating a chick and she was outrageously jealous and insecure. So he would get into arguments and fights with her. He never hit her once but she'd smack him, bite him and scratch him and once he even got hit in the balls kinda' hard. So his girl got into the habit of hitting him because to her it was fine since he never hit her back.
So finally one day in a car he finally told her to shut the **ck up and it's over. So she socked the shit out of him while he was driving and kept on hitting him until he crashed into a parked car.
So my friend then got out of the car and tried to pull her out and got hit in the face some more numerous times. Scratched up and everything.
Simply because he was done with all of the drama. Anyway when she smacked him this last time my friend smacked her back. So he got back in the car and drove off leaving her there.
Hurt from banging her face on the windshield/dashboard from the car accident his girl then called the cops and told them that her man whipped her ass.
So my friend wanted to go get his things from her apt to go to a hotel and saw a million cop cars there.
So he left and when he sent us to retrieve his stuff this girl didn't want to let us get his 6 bags of stuff. She said tell him to come get it himself.
Tell him to answer his phone and that I'm sorry we can work this out. To which I said hell no my friend isn't coming anywhere near here. It's too late for all of that.
He just wants his luggage and you guys need never to see each other anymore.
But you know these friends of mine don't like the image being put out about them but because of various reasons can't tell people what really happened.
Shit happens was definitely in effect and it's crazy how everyone can jump on a woman's side and not know what happened.
You know? Just like with the Chris Brown situation. You never know what really took place if you weren't there. : )
Hind sight is 20/20 and I told that friend of mine he should've gotten out of the car and called the cops on her ass when it was just him with scratches and shit.
But he reminded me that there was a car accident that caused her bruises and that he hit "her BACK to make her stop attacking him".
He also reminded me that I was lying because he knows id never call the police on anyone, especially a woman. So I had nothing to say back to him after that. There is going to be a million in one stories about this but only the people who were there know what happened

So we all know by now what went down between Chris Brown and Rihanna.
Well if you don't know here is what I know so far...
Chris and Ri-Ri were in L.A. for Sunday night's Grammy awards. After attending Clive Davis' Grammy party, the two departed in Brown's rented Lamborghini heading to an unknown destination. Before they could get to wherever it was things started to get a little crazy.
Sometime during the ride and argument ensued between the two and Chris beat the breaks of of Ri-RI Chris allegedly struck Rihanna. A witness later called the cops, and when they arrived at the scene, Ri-Ri had visible bruises but Brown was no where to be found.
Chris was initially charged with making criminal threats which carries a possible nine year prison sentence. He turned himself in to the LAPD today and was also charged with assault with a deadly weapon and released on a $50,000 bail.
According to TMZ, Brown is being charged with an assault with a deadly weapon because his hands are considered dangerous due to the fact that he has had marital arts training.
I don't know why or even IF Chris is guilty of these crimes..but I DO know that K.C from Jodeci is somewhere laughing his a*s off!!!!

Tichina Arnold recently spilled the beans that Tisha is about 2 months pregnant. The couple has been married for 12 years and already have one child, 8 year old Xen.
Tichina Told US Weekly that "She hopes to have a girl this time, and has said she would love to name her Derek. She has been wanting a girl for almost six years. Everybody is so excited"
EVE GETS READAY TO FLIRT
Eve is gonna give the music business one more try, and attempt to make a come back with her new CD entitled "Flirt" Eve recently talked about her upcoming project.
In an interview with the New York Post’s PopWatch blog, the West Philly MC blamed her disc’s repeated setbacks on her “whole music label situation” with Interscope, but said it should finally surface this spring or summer.
Initially set to hit stores in 2007 under the title Here I Am, the rapper/actress said the LP has undergone many changes. “It won’t be called ‘Here I Am’ anymore,’ she said. “Now it’s called ‘Flirt.’” In addition Eve says the music will be a lot more positive then her original effort. “I had to get in there and put in some upbeat music that I wasn’t depressed about,” she said of the new tracks. “It’s fun, it’s sexy, it’s totally me. Imagine if ‘Tambourine’ had kids — that’s what the CD sounds like.”
I don't know if I want to hear Eve do another Tambourine type song...I prefer her to be an ill pitbull in a skirt.

TASIA MAE IS COMING BACK
Sources say that Tasia Mae will reprise her role as Celle in the stage play "The Color Purple" when it hits The Kennedy Center in Washington DC. The play starts it's DC run on June 30th. Tasia will reportedly be a part of the play on it's DC, Atlanta, and Chicago runs. Even though she missed about 50 shows when the play was on Broadway, producers are ecstatic to welcome the American Idol star back to the stage.
