RAZ B REPORTEDLY MISSING

According to MTV, Raz B hasn't been heard from in the last two days. Raz B's brother spoke to MTV and told them that he is standing by his previous statement regarding the actions of Chris Stokes.

These remarks came after Chris Stokes released a statement to MTV claiming that he is not a child molester and has been happily married for 16 years. He also stated that he is going to sue Raz B and his brother Ricardo.

"I'm not gay. And I'm married. And I have four kids. I been with my wife for 16 years," Stokes told MTV in an exclusive interview. "And I'm not a child molester. So those are all false allegations. I'm gonna sue them. And I owe that to my wife and kids, period. It's ridiculous."

I have recently stopped financially supporting both individuals along with assisting them with their criminal and legal matters which leads me to believe they are resentful and looking to benefit financially from this. My family is my first priority and the reason why I have been so supportive of them. In bringing these false claims, they have not only slandered me, they have also put me in a position to ensure that the truth is known and I will take all legal routes to protect myself, my family and my four children,” said Chris Stokes, CEO of The Ultimate Group.

It’s also quite ironic that these statements were made only 2 weeks after they were denied admittance by a venue for an event I hosted in Beverly Hills,” added Stokes.

After months of speculation, I think it is safe to say that the sh*t has finally hit the fan over at Def Jam.

El President AKA Jiggaman AKA Sean Corey Carter AKA Beyonce's back shot donor has left the building over at Def Jam. It was announced today that Jay will not renew his contract, and will step down as president of the label in 2008.

I’ve been incredibly fortunate to have served as President of such a culturally-defining label as Def Jam over the last three years," Jay-Z said in a statement. "During that time, I’ve had the pleasure of working with many of the world’s most dynamic artists and many of the most dedicated and talented executives in the music business today, including Antonio “L.A.” Reid. Jay has been president at Def Jam at a time where the music industry is evolved into something totally different then what it used to be. Jay has recently expressed his desire to find the new business model for the music industry.

I wonder whats next for Young Turbo. I think he should form a group with Pharrell and call it "Two niggas who don't give a damn about their artists." The first single should be called " We Don't Like Black People"

Rapper Young Joc was arrested in Cleveland Ohio yesterday after a he was allegedly found to be carrying a gun while trying to board an airplane.

Police found the gun when Joc attempted to go through a security checkpoint. Joc is currently locked up and facing firearms charges.

So since I am down here in the MIA the one thing that I always have to do when I go outta town is check out which songs are bangin in the clubs . Whenever you go to a major city, the DJ's are normally up on the latest music, but there are always one or two songs that the DJ plays that make you say "Damn...who dat?!?!?"

Well while down here I found that there are TWO songs like this that are being played in the club. The first song that had the party going crazy was by an artist named Brisco. His new joint "I'm Me" had the crowd going CRAZY every time the DJ played it. It was crazy watching as the entire club chanted "B*tch I'm Me"

Well I made some calls and once again the homie Quest came through for me and hooked me up with an interview with Brisco. We chopped it up over the phone for a few minutes. Here is how the interview went.

Opa Locka is like a lot of parts. You got Liberty City and Carol City. Opa Locka falls under those brackets. Its between Liberty and Carol City.
How was life for you growing up in Opa Locka?

I was blessed to grow up there cuz the adversities made me a better person. I feel like my family was strong enough to handle my environment. The people in the environment made me who I am.


How would you describe your sound

I call it thug poetry That’s what I started doing first when my mom died. She died when I was 9 years old. I converted the poetry into Hip Hop. I told yall that I was going outta town for a few days this week. Well my trip wasn't just for leisure..I actually came down here to "work"..Kinda! First of all I wanna thank my connect...Shout out to the homie Quest from Star Max PR for making this entire trip possible!!!

The reason I came to the 305 was so I could attend Trina's surprise birthday party on Monday night. Now when I say this party was an event...I mean it was an EVENT!!!!

The party went down at the newest place in Miami to see and be seen. White Diamonds is the plush new nightspot that sits in the center of Miami's South Beach. It's located at 737 Washington Street. If you are familiar with the South Beach area, then you know that Washington Street is the place that everyone goes to party, pop bottles and floss their whips.

The party was exactly like you would expect it to be. Damn near the whole city of Miami came out to support their homegirl on her birthday.

Celebs including Busta Rhymes, Young Burg, Deelishus and Buckey from Flavor of Love, Keith Sweat, Pleasure P (formerly of Pretty Ricky), and more all held down the VIP while Trina and her girls made footstools of every piece of furniture that they could find.

The best part of the night came when Fred and Makiesha Wills who own White Diamonds brought out the FREE SOUL FOOD BUFFET. The menu consisted of turkey chops, candied yams, fried fish, corn bread, collard greens, cabbage, and a host of other delicious soul food items. From what I understand, they put it down like this every night that the club is open. So if you are ever on South Beach and you wanna party and get some good soul food, then I suggest you hit up White Diamonds.

Prior to his untimely death, Pimp C had most recently become well known for giving the best damn interviews on the face of this earth.

It all started out earlier this summer when Chad spoke with Ozone Magazine and dissed everybody that you could possibly think of. In the interview with Julia Beverly from Ozone Pimp talked about how Atlanta wasn't really the south, how rappers like Young Jeezy are lying in their raps, and even went on to speak about the rappers who "like things stuck in their booty hole"

As you can imagine, this interview stirred up a lot of controversy around the Hip Hop community. Below you will find two interviews that Pimp C did soon after the Ozone Magazine interview.

PIMP C MAY HAVE DIED FROM NATURAL CAUSES

According to TMZ, rapper Pimp C may have died from natural causes in his California hotel room.

The coroner has stated that there was no sign of any type of drug paraphernalia in the room where Pimp C was found early this morning.

When police found him, he was apparently fully clothed and laying on top of his bed. There was also no signs that anyone else was in the room at the time of his death.

This is definitely a sad day in Hip Hop. We have lost another legend yall...Keep Pimp C and his loved ones in your prayers.

Jive Records' President and CEO Barry Weiss states: "We mourn the unexpected loss of Chad. He was truly a thoughtful and kind-hearted person. He will be remembered for his talent and profound influence as a pioneer in bringing southern rap to the forefront. He will be missed and our prayers remain with his family and Bun B. I've known Chad since he was 18, and we loved him dearly and he was a cherished member of the Jive family."

Born in Port Arthur, Texas, Butler's father was a trumpet player who played professionally with Solomon Burke. Outside of his father, the 33-year old rapper's influences varied, ranging from Bobby Bland, Jimmy McGriff, the 1960's Motown artists to Run DMC. Butler met his inseparable partner Bernard "Bun B" Freeman in high school where they formed UGK. In 1992, the duo signed to Jive Records and went on release a total of eight albums for the label. They earned their highest achievement earlier this year when their most recent album, UGK (Underground Kingz), debuted in the number one position on the album pop chart. According to the New York Times, UGK "helped inspire a generation of Southern hip-hop stars, from OutKast to Lil Wayne."

Bun B is not available for comment at this time."

I just got word from a well placed source down in the Dirty South that the homie Pimp C has passed away.

As I do a little research I found out that TMZ is reporting that Pimp C(real name Chad Butler) was found dead early this morning inside of his Hollywood hotel room.

Pimp C who was one half of the group UGK was 43 years old.

50 Cent sat down with DJ Whoo Kid on his Sirus Shade 45 radio show recently. Cuuurtis took some time to give his opinion on some of the things that are going on in music right now.

In part 1 Fif talks about Puff being ugly and still being able to sell tons of Pro Activ and his thoughts on Jay Z pimping everyone at Def Jam so he could drop American Gangster in the 4th quarter.

When Fif talks about Def Jam artists having their name etched in a tombstone, Freeway is the first artist that comes to mind. Free just dropped a BANGIN CD that only sold 36,000 copies in the first week.

I find this kinda ironic since Curtis was co executive producer of the CD.

FOUR MEN ARRESTED FOR MURDERING SEAN TAYLOR

Four men have been arrested for the murder of NFL star Sean Taylor. Charles Wardlow, Eric Rivera and Venjah Hunte have all been charged with unpremeditated murder. A forth suspect, Jason Scott Mitchell has not been charged yet.

According to police, these idiots didn't expect Taylor to be home when they broke into his crib on Monday morning. Taylor surprised the would be robbers, and that is when he was fatally shot in his leg.
