SISTER OF MANNIE FRESH SHOT AND KILLED

According to police in New Orleans, LA, Mannie Fresh's sister was shot and killed in her home Wednesday night.

Mannie's sister Angela Bryant was found dead in her home yesterday. Police also say that her 1998 Lexus LS 400 was missing.

Bryant who had just gotten married last month was reportedly murdered between the hours of 10:00pm and midnight.

Her husband was away on a trip to Atlanta when the murder occurred. Cops say there was no sign of forced entry into the home.

The motive for the slaying has not yet been determined.

CAN'T WE ALL JUST GET ALONG

Rodney King was reportedly injured during a shooting in San Bernadino, Ca. Wednesday.

Police received a call from King who had been shot in the face and arm. When officers arrived at King's home, they found him inside the home drunk.

King was then taken to a local hospital. His wounds are not expected to be life threatening.

IS LIL WAYNE LOOKING FOR BEEF WITH THE CLIPSE?

He aint neva ran from a ni**a and he damn sho' aint bout to pick today to start runnin'. It looks like Lil Wayne is looking to spark up some old beef and carry his duffle bag full of rhymes into the studio and record a new diss track.

It was last year around this same time when Wayne decided to tell the world that he was better than Jay Z and also expressed his displeasure with Pharrell and The Clipse. It's still hard to determine if Weezy was name dropping as a way to get publicity, or if he was just coked up out of his rabbit ass mind going through some personal issues. Well the heavily criticized words from Weezy that were printed in the December 2006 issue of Complex magazine got the attention of everyone involved in Hip Hop.

The debate about who was a better MC between Wayne and The Clipse had already been going on in barbershops and on websites up and down the east coast. Pusha's verse on the remix to the song "Chevy Ridin' High" also contributed to the speculation that there was beef between the Star Trak and Cash Money crew members. Wayne's statements to Complex simply added fuel to a fire that had been burning on the low for a while.

Well the day after Wayne's statement was released, I had the pleasure of being the first one to interview Pusha T from the Clipse live on the radio. Push and I discussed his feelings on Wayne and where he thought the beef was headed.

After a few weeks of verbal jabbing here and there, and some good debates between Hip Hop heads, the beef seemingly died...At least that's what I thought.

Wayne is back in the most recent issue of Complex magazine and he is once again throwing shots in the direction of The Clipse.

In his most current interview with the magazine, Wayne is quoted as saying:

“I thought the whole ‘Mr. Me Too’ video was about me, to tell you the damn truth,” Weezy says of the Clipse song. “They think I want to be like them. I’m on a million-dollar bus going around the world charging people from $50,000 to $150,000 for verses, and I got 77 songs in magazines and I got a billion more. Do the math; you think I’m trying to be like you? No sir.”

BIRDMAN GETS KNOCKED

The man who holds the world record for the oldest rapper aliveCash Money C.E.O. Bryan "Baby" Williams was arrested last night in Kingsport Tennessee.

Baby along with his brother Slim and several other members of the Cash Money family were reportedly driving along interstate 81 when they were pulled over by officers for making an improper lane change.

When the officer approached their vehicle he noticed that it smelled like marijuana.

During a search of the vehicle, the officer allegedly found almost a pound of marijuana,an assault rifle, a handgun and a clip for a .45 caliber handgun.

Among the passengers in the vehicle was Birdman's 18-YEAR OLD WIFE Brittany Williams. I'm confused by that part just like you..I'm trying to do some research on it now...More to come because this story is still developing.

According to sources, Tameka gave birth on Monday night at an Atlanta area hospital.

Usher and his old ass gold digging baby mammawonderful new wife will be heading home Wednesday.

REDSKIN'S SAFETY SEAN TAYLOR DIES

NFL player Sean Taylor has died from a gunshot wound that he received in an apparent robbery attempt at his Miami area home on Monday.

The 24 year old Taylor was at home with his girlfriend and 18-month old daughter when someone broke into the home. Taylor got up up lock the bedroom door, and the men kicked the door down and shot Taylor in the leg one time. The fatal bullet hit an artery in Taylor's leg and caused him to lose a massive amount of blood.

Taylor's girlfriend called 911. When paramedics arrived Taylor was described as "on the floor, non responsive, bleeding out and chest heaving, eyes rolled back and he was pretty much gone from that point on."

Police also received a report of a break in at Taylor's home eight days earlier. There has been no conformation that the two break ins were related.

Super producer Timbaland welcomed his first child into the world a few days ago. Timbo and his girlfriend Monique Idlett became the proud parents of a beautiful baby girl named Reign earlier this week.

Idlett has been Timbaland's publicist for the last few years. The couple also announced that they are engaged and will be getting married in early 2008.

Dr. Adams was scheduled to appear on Larry King Live tonight and give his version of what went on with Dr. Donda West.

When the show first came on Larry stated that Dr. Adams was in the greenroom discussing something with his attorney and was not ready to come out and talk yet.

Later on in the show it was announced that Dr. Adams had received a request from the West family to not speak on the show.

Here is some footage of Dr. Donda West's funeral. It looks like a nice home going service. It's good to see Kanye actually smiling. He's still in my thoughts and prayers.

Kanye broke down while speaking at the funeral. Among the 2,500 people who attended the funeral were Beyonce, John Legend, Jay Z, Common, and Anita Baker.

Kanye said that he wanted her to not "rest in peace, but rest in paradise."

STREETS IS WATCHING

Dr. Jan Adams will appear on the Larry King Live show tonight. This will be the first time that Dr. Adams has spoken publicly since the death of Kanye's mom Donda West.

NE-YO DROPPED FROM THE DOUBLE UP TOUR

According to several publications Ne-Yo has been dropped from the R. Kelly "Double Up" tour.

This show has been filled with drama since day one. Keyshia Cole reportedly refused to perform on the first night of the tour because she was scheduled to hit the stage before Ne-Yo.

I wonder if Keyshia's diva type tendencies had anything to do with Ne-Yo getting dropped.

Here is the press release that has begun circulating the net.

“Yesterday, Shaffer Smith aka Ne-Yo was informed that he was being dropped from the rest of the R Kelly tour after delivering two sensational performances. Entertainment reporters, music critics, bloggers, fans, and concert goers all agreed that Ne-Yo’s performances brought the heat; but maybe it brought too much heat. . . The fans were really feeling his performances. He’s good; maybe he’s too good – that’s the problem.

It seems like déjà vu – didn’t R Kelly have drama on his last tour. R Kelly’s camp sited the lack of a signed contract as the reason for removing Ne-Yo from the line up.

“I don’t understand their actions because I was rehearsing, doing media, promoting the tour, and performing, said Ne-Yo. In my opinion, I was doing everything possible to make the tour a success. I love being on stage in front of fans because of the immediate feedback you get. You know right away if they are feeling you; and they were really feeling our show.”

Ne-Yo expressed genuine concern regarding not having the opportunity to complete the tour. He wanted all of his fans and supporters to be able to see him live. “To my fans and ticket holders – I apologize if you are disappointed.”

KANYE BREAKS DOWN ON STAGE

Kanye was performing in London last night. At the end of the show, Kanye was getting ready to perform "Hey Mamma."

As you'll see in the video, Kanye just broke down on stage as the music was playing and the fans cheered his name.

Most people don't know that Kanye never left Europe after his mother died. He has been over there since finding out the news. Some sources say that Ye has basically been going through denial. It looks like the grieving process just came to a head for Ye last night.

After standing on the stage and crying, Kanye left the stage. He returned about 15 minutes later and performed "Stronger"

So many stories have come out about the death of Dr. Donda West over the last week I think that somehow we have lost focus on the real issue at hand.

I understand why everyone wants to know about the doctor who performed the surgery, and the cause of death. I just wanted to take a minute of my time and focus my energy on doing something positive in light of the current situation. The sad thing is that any one of us could be in Kanye's position right now. So I just decided to post this video of Kanye performing "Hey Mamma" live in front of his mom. Also, if you've lost your mother I just want you to know that you also are in my thoughts and prayers.

JUDGEMENT DAY COMETH FOR BMF

The song "When It All Falls Down" probably takes on an entirely different twist when the two masterminds behind the Black Mafia Family listen to it. After years of living lavishly, and partying excessively, the two brothers known to most as Big Meech and Southwest T were arrested two years ago.

Big Meech who is probably the most known member of the family will face his federal trial on November 26th in Detroit.

If you have never heard of The BMF, they are our generations version of The American Gangster. The Feds allege that the family's crime ring was responsible for distributing cocaine in several different regions of the U.S including L.A., Atlanta, Detroit, and Mexico.

BMF is believed to have moved thousands of kilos of coke each month and laundered more than a quarter of a billion dollars in drug proceeds. Along the way, the organization was aided by a strict code of silence that blanketed crew members – at least for a time.

Meech is accused of running BMF's hub in Atlanta, where he created a name for himself as a flashy hip-hop entrepreneur and legendary partyer – the antithesis to his more understated brother. He also drew heat to BMF by bragging that he spent $50,000 in a single visit to nightclubs such as Vision and Compound, and by traveling with a crew that caused trouble. Among other violent crimes, BMF associates have been implicated in a stabbing inside a Buckhead restaurant, a fatal shooting in the parking lot of a Midtown club, and a double homicide of a prospective federal witness and his girlfriend.

Meech has also been implicated in the murder of Puffy's bodyguard Anthony "Wolf"Jones back in 2003.(I wish I could tell yall the story behind that, but I value my life too much)

I found it surprising to find out that Meech and his brother Southwest T had not spoken to each other in over a year prior to their arrest in 2005. THE TRUTH ABOUT DONDA'S DOCTOR

I can't even front, I am having some reservations about posting this story. If it offends anyone, I apologize.

More information is coming out about the Dr. who performed the cosmetic surgery on Dr. Donda West.

Dr. Jan Adams is licensed in the state of California, but last April the State Medical Board filed papers to revoke or suspend his license due to multiple DUI convictions within the last 13 years. The board states that Dr. Adams "has used alcohol to the extent or in such a manner as to be dangerous or injurious to himself and others..." According to TMZ, Dr. Adams also has two previous malpractice judgments against him. The above picture is a mugshot from one of Dr. Adams' arrests.

Reports have surfaced that the surgery took eight hours. Experts suggest that this is twice as long as the surgery should have taken. Instead of sending Dr. West to a recovery center, he sent her home after the surgery. The next day, Dr. West was found unresponsive in her home by paramedics.

Dr. Adams says that Dr. West consulted with him for four months before finally deciding to have the surgery.

Dr. Adams has made appearances on several television shows. He hosted a show on The Discovery Channel called "Plastic Surgery:Before and After." He has also been featured on The Oprah Winfrey Show.

DONDA WEST DIED FROM COSMETIC SURGERY COMPLICATIONS

According to reports from various sources, Kanye West's mom Donda died from complications during a "cosmetic procedure".


TMZ is reporting that her death was a result of a "combined procedure" which included liposuction.

The L.A. County coroner is currently investigating the death of Dr. Donda West. It is still unclear whether she actually died on the operating table, or while recovering in her room after the surgery. An autopsy will be performed later this week and the cause of death will be determined at that time

I got word earlier today from my peoples in The Chi that Kanye West's mother Dr. Donda West had passed away. After doing some research I was unable to find anything to back this story up. So I just brushed it off as the typical industry rumor.

It is with great sadness that I report to you that it was not a rumor. According to TMZ, Dr. Donda West passed away in Los Angeles earlier today.

Kanye was in London at the time of her death, and is now on his way back to The States.

The cause of death has not yet been made public.

We all know how close Ye was with his Mom, so I suggest that we all keep him in our prayers.

I will keep you updated on this story as details emerge.

Unless your cousin Tyrone paid $600 to that dude in the barbershop that sold him the American Gangster DVD two weeks ago.

Jay performed a lot of his older hits as well as some of the newer soon to be classics from American Gangster.

He even brought some of his fellow Roc La Familia. Kanye, Beanie , and Freeway all popped up to help Jay rock the crowd.

The new Convertible Maybach is about to hit the streets. With a price tag over $400,000 it's pretty safe to say that none of us will be able to afford it. This is the epitome of ridin' big. I know some of yall are gonna want to think about renting one of these and throwing some rims and some TV's in it the next time you go to Miami..But don't do that. These joints need to stay as is.

FRANK LUCAS SPEAKS TO MISS JONES

Hot 97's Miss Jones interviewed Frank Lucas. The American Gangster sets the record straight about his past and tells that some of the things that we saw in the movie were not accurate.

Overall, Jonesy does a good job of interviewing Frank. I wish she would have gotten into more details about how much money Frank was seeing back in the day, and also what he was doing for money prior to this movie being made. I'm sure Frank wasn't working a 9-5 for the last 15 years.

REMY MA COVERS THE VILLAGE VOICE

Remy Ma covers the latest issue of The Village Voice. The reporter follows Remy around as she goes to speak to a group of kids about staying in school(even though she admittedly never graduated high school her damn self.)

Remy has been through a lot over the last few years. She seems to have matured from the rough times that she has seen lately. Her future in the industry still remains unclear.

After leaving Fat Joe's Terror Squad crew, she is actually a free agent now and looking for her next record label home. The labels are probably waiting to see what the out come of her case will be before they make a decision on signing her.

Remy doesn't give any details about the events that let up to the shooting of her best friend Makeda Barnes Joseph. Remy does give some details about some of the things that she had to overcome growing up, and how she was treated on her second trip to Rikers Island.

Remy was 13. And soon things got even worse: Her mother was locked up, and the family faced homelessness. That's when, Remy says, everything changed.

"I found out the man I thought was my father my whole life—we weren't biologically related!" The man she had called "Daddy" left New York with his son, her younger brother. Her little sisters went to live with their father, another man, and her older brother was on his own. Remy was alone.

"I don't know what my other choice was than to live with Mo—either that or go to a home somewhere. I ended up living in her bedroom, on the floor. Moved in when I was 13 and moved out right before my 18th birthday. Seemed like my whole fucking life. I swear, those were the years that mattered. That's when everything went crazy. Everything I learned that makes me who I am today I learned at that point in my life."

Three years after the man who turned out to be her stepfather had left, Remy and her mother went to visit him in North Carolina. "We had a family discussion," she says. And Remy got aggressive. "He really couldn't take it. Long story short, he told me to shut up. I wouldn't. He punched me in my face."

To make matters worse, she says, her mother and stepfather told her she wasn't going back to New York. "I think they were scared I was going to tell the cops or something," she says. To make sure she didn't leave, they took her suitcase and bus ticket. "They were talking about how I was living there now. What? Operation: I'm Outta Here!" she says. "I broke out somehow." Her younger brother recruited a friend's mother to drive Remy to the bus station. "I never spoke to that nigga since that day," she says of her stepfather. "That was in 1996. I used to call that nigga my daddy. That was like my father. I had his last name at one point."

Lawyers for Clifford have filed a motion with an Atlanta judge that would allow him to have visitors in his home for Thanksgiving. Under the provisions of his bond, T.I. is not allowed to leave his home for any reason. He also is only allowed to have three visitors in his home at a time. All visitors have to be cleared and also are subject to a background check.

If approved by the judge, the visitors would only be allowed to be in the home from 9:00am-6:30pm on Thanksgiving.

T.I. is also barred from drinking any type of alcohol.

Lawyers also requested to have a cleaning service come into the home to clean.

TREY SONGZ SPEAKS ABOUT ARREST

Trey Songz is speaking out about the events that landed him in jail after a concert last weekend. Songz was charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest after someone started shooting outside of the Hippodrome in Springfield, MA.

According to Songz, he and his entourage were unfairly targeted by police officers who responded to the shooting.

According to MTV:

Ironically, the end of the show marked the beginning of Songz and company's problems. They exited through the performers' entrance, but that entrance leads into the same parking lot used by the general public.

"My homie goes to get one of the police officers to escort us out of there and [someone in the parking lot] started bussin' [firing a gun]," Songz recalled. "So we started ducking in the car. So my homie runs back to the car and gets in like, 'They bussin'!' By the time we look up, we see the police [had] apprehended somebody, so we said, 'We ain't finnin' to wait.' We got out the car and proceeded to walk, 'cause the hotel is only a block away. The police stopped us and were like, 'Hold up, hold up.' "

Songz said that the police were not letting anyone out of the parking lot without being searched. Songz said he and his entourage were trying to comply with the officers' request to search them, but things went badly.

"They go to my road manager Bobby and they wanna check him," the singer said. "Bobby tells them he had like $6,000 in show money — because if they started feeling on that, they might think something. So he tells the cops he's got the money in his pocket and the cops break bad with him. They grabbed the road manger by the neck, and I'm standing right beside him. So my bodyguard steps out and pushes me out the way because that's [his] second nature. They think because he steps up, he wants to stop something."

Songz said that one officer tried to take down his tall, 300-pound bodyguard but did not succeed, so more officers got involved and took him down.

"It was seven on him, beating his a--," Songz said bitterly. "He caught it in the back of the head with a nightstick. His face was swollen. His arm was out of place."

Songz said he too got roughed up after yelling at one of the officers. He said he was angry because he saw a group of white officers laughing about what had just happened, and verbalized his disdain.

"The officers were joking about hitting [us]," Trey fumed. "I was like, 'Man, y'all stomped my n---a's face in.' That's when they tackled me. It was like four officers on me. One officer had his knee in my throat. They was kicking me in the ribs. Talking to people in that community, they say that thing happens all the time.

After a phone conversation that was filled with racial slurs was released to the public last week, the controversy surrounding Dog The Bounty Hunter continues to grow.

Dog's show has been suspended by A & E, but it has not yet been permanently removed from the network.

The National Enquirer is reporting that Dog's Ex Wife, his step daughter, and others have stepped up to say that this wasn't the first time that Dog has used racial slurs.

Dog's ex wife Lyssa stated that she has no doubt that Dog is a racist. She told the
Enquirer that "He ran down every single minority group when I was with him, and n---er was a daily word for him."I would tell him not to talk that way in front of our kids, but he just ignored me."

Oh, and don't think that Dog only talked this way around his family. He also shared his racist views with people he worked with. Peggy Munoz who is a former bail bondsman says Dog has a special "approach" to his business. Dog once told her 'I don't like to bond out n----rs because they don't have any money and I have trouble collecting on them. And I don't like to bond out Mexicans because, well, they just run."

R & B singer Trey Songz was arrested early Sunday morning after a shooting in
Springfield MA.

The shooting occurred after Trey Songz performed at the Hippodrome on Saturday night.

Trey was charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. Songz was released after posting $500 bond.

Anthony Williams, who is the alleged shooter was detained and is facing multiple charges in association with the shooting.

It is not clear what relationship Trey Songz has with the victim or the shooter.

Actually, I thought it was a huge mistake on 50's part, for two reasons. One reason - the biggest reason - was he didn't have the right record, and he should've known he didn't have the right records in June, when he put out the "Amusement Park" and the "Bank" record, "Money in the Bank" ha ha ha whatever - and the people rejected those deposits. He should've known better to come and fuck around and play with a dude who's making big records. The underdog factor too - 50 lowered himself because he was a bigger artist than Kanye, he was selling more records than Kanye. With Kanye, you look at two of his albums and in the States he sold, like, 2.5 with both of his records. With 50, his first album did, what, 7-8 million? His second album, he did 5-6 million? He's a bigger selling artist, so why pay off with this act? You put yourself in the Goliath role and him in the David role, you understand? And he should've known, out of anybody! Because the underdog won't help him or fuck with us. If he was the one selling all the records and on top of the world, here comes the guy with the slingshot saying "fuck him." He should've known better, being someone who played the role of David, who slayed Goliath. He should've known, like, don't go fucking with this dude, especially when he's dropping "When will I get my money, right" and he's dropping records! And he has the white record, "Stronger," that's crushing radio. He should have known, whoa, don't fuck with that dude, yo. And now you put yourself in the position where they're making a choice.

And now with Kanye, he's made another mistake, 'cuz Kanye got that "Good Life" record which is smashin'. He's burying him right now. 50 is just lookin worse and worse and worse and worse. Anyone who was praying for his downfall, he just lit their torch and now they're running around with it. So there was a few mistakes that I'm shocked that he made. I'm pretty sure that Jimmy Iovine was like, "Yo, don't go fucking with Kanye, yo, leave it alone." But, you know, his ego probably comes into play, which is a huge ego. It all makes sense what happened. I just think he shouldn't have messed with Kanye. He should've left it alone.

OPRAH WINFREY'S COUSIN WRITES A TELL ALL BOOK

Even though Oprah Winfrey has billions of dollars in her bank account, she seems to be going through some real deal life issues right now. Teachers at her school in South Africa are being accused of sexual misconduct, she recently announced that she has a thyroid condition, and now her cousin Shakeeta Winfrey has written a tell all book about living in the shadows of Oprah.

Shakeeta recently visited the Frank and Wanda morning show on Atlanta's V103 radio station. You can watch the video footage below.

Now I don't know who over at Columbia Records approved this sh*t, but they need to be fired ASAP. This joint looks like a cover to one of those straight to DVD movies that you can only buy in the barbershop. Faceoff drops on December 4th.



Now I don't know if the person who created Foxy Brown's cover for Brooklyn Don Diva was just learning how to use Photoshop, or if they actually thought this Crayola crayon experiment was acceptable. Either way, this joint needs to be thrown in the trash immediately.

Now...I had to save the wackest for last. Dewayne Carter....WTF is going on in this picture. Since when did it become acceptable to look like a drag queen on the cover of your CD? I know some of yall Lil Weezy stans are going to say that this is artistic and he's expressing himself and blah..blah..blah. DA BRAT ARRESTED IN ATL SHAWTY

Da Brat was arrested and charged with aggravated assault last night after a dispute with a waitress in a Dekalb County nightclub. Da Brat whose real name is Shawnte Harris allegedly hit the waitress over the head with a bottle of Rum.

Brat is currently sitting in jail awaiting her bond hearing.

See you can't just go knocking people upside the head just because you lost a few pounds on celebrity fit club Brat. Brat probably got mad because the waitress said she wasn't down with the licky licky.

IN THE STUDIO WITH THE KING OF POP

Billy Bush from Access Hollywood snagged a super exclusive interview with Michael Jackson recently.

Bush goes into the studio with Mike as he records some new music with Will I Am. The two musicians sit down and discuss the recording process for Michael's new CD as well as how Michael actually plans to promote the album.

Michael seems to be in the zone during the candid moments that we see him on camera. I haven't seen him this comfortable since he was hanging out with the little white boy from Home Alone.
