It saddens me to report that the group known as Floetry no longer exists the way we have come to know and love it. Floetry member Natalie has departed the group. Sources say that Natalie has left the group and will be replaced by Radio Personality and former MTV 2 VJ Amanda Diva. Marsha and Amanda are scheduled to go on the "Floetry Remix" tour later this summer. When you go out on the block today make sure you pour out some of your 40oz of Olde English for the original Floetry cuz they were a dope combination.

USHER THREATENS TO SUE FANS

Erika Jackson, who is the webmaster for usherforever.com is reportedly being threatened with legal action by Ursher. It seems as though Ursh has gotten his team of legal henchmen to harass Ms. Jackson because he has not been pleased with some of the things that she has posted about him on her fansite. To make a long story short, Ursh is tired of people like me saying how STUPID he is for getting engaged to Maneka and knocking her up. MICHAEL VICK INDICTED

The "doghunt" to get evidence against Michael Vick in this dog fighting case has seemingly come to an end. Investigators have decided to indict Vick on charges of operating a dog fighting ring in Surry Va after a raid of the home turned up several dog fighting items a few months ago. Now I happen to live in VA, moments away from where the situation happened. I will tell you this, these charges would not be going on if it weren't for the media blowing the entire situation out of proportion. They have been hounding this case since day one. TMZ reports that :

Graves of seven pit bulls were found inside "Bad Newz Kennels," a Virginia property owned by Vick. The dogs were allegedly killed after testing whether they would be good fighters. According to documents, dogfights would end when one dog died or backed down, and dogs were sometimes put to death by drowning, strangulation, hanging, gunshot, electrocution or some other method.

The report also states that Vick has been fighting dogs since 2001. I think it's gonna be pretty hard for them to get a conviction on these charges, but we'll see what happens.

Aiight, so I didn't hit yall with any news yesterday because I took an extened weekend. I didn't do anything, just hung out with my daughter if you were wondering. So let me catch you up with everyone thing that's been going on the last couple of days. This will probably be one of those long megaposts...sooooo...LET'S GO IN!!!!

Remy Ma Update
The last story that I reported before taking yesterday off was Remy Ma losing her mind and allegedly shooting a chick over $2,000. Well since the shooting of Remy's long time friend Makeda Barnes Joseph a lot of facts about the shooting have started to emerge. Here is a quick recap of what happened:
- Remy and her girlfriends went out to celebrate a birthday

-Sometime during the evening, Remy asked Makeda to hold her purse

-As everyone was leaving the party Remy noticed that $3,000 was missing from her
purse

- An argument ensued outside of the party, and Makeda was shot

An eye witness from the event has stepped forward and spoken to All Hip Hop. Here is what she had to say about the events that hapened that night.

"Everyone was good the entire party, until we went outside and Makeda tried to quickly slip away," the woman told AllHipHop.com. "She has [allegedly] stolen from Remy before and Remy forgave her the first time. Remy even paid Makeda's rent before, when she spent her money on shopping and her sorry a** boyfriend couldn't help out."

According to the woman, who said she witnessed the entire event, Barnes-Joseph exited her vehicle and the two women argued in the street.

"Remy never got in her [Barnes-Joseph's] car," the witness revealed to AllHipHop.com. "Makeda [allegedly] threatened Remy in front of everyone and demanded that she didn't take her money. She also threw her purse at Remy to check and that's why Remy had her purse and emptied the contents. Remy didn't even have a gun on her."

Remy Ma's friend said that she and the others in the entourage walked up to the two women as they were arguing and that's when shots rang out.

"Makeda's boyfriend threatened Remy," the woman said. "All I know is, as soon as I turned, Makeda was on the ground saying she got shot, but Remy [allegedly] never had a pistol in her hand."

The woman said everyone fled because the police were enroute to the scene of the shooting.

When officers responded to a 911 call, they found Barnes-Joseph shot in her Maxima.

Remy Ma's Cadillac Escalade was found a few blocks away, crashed into a parked vehicle.

REMY MA ARRESTED FOR ATTEMPTED MURDER

TMZ is reporting that former Terror Squad member and constant topic of discussion on this here blog; Remy Ma turned herself in for attempted murder over the weekend. Sources say that Remy got into an argument with her close friend Makeda Barnes-Joseph while thety were out celebrating a friends birthday. Allegedly, while the ladies were out partying, some of Remy's dough came up missing. After confronting her friend, cops say that Remy shot her two times in the abdomen.

After the shooting, Remy dipped but crashed her car a few blocks away. After the crash, she then hopped into a taxi. remy turned herself in a few hours later while being accompanied by her lawyer.

NE-YO SPEAKS ABOUT SUPERHEAD

MTV news caught up with Ne-Yo at the Essence Music Festival in the N.O. over the weekend. Ne-Yo is trying to deny that anything ever happened between he and Karrine Steffans. I don't really see what the big deal is. I have seen Superhead's sex tape and I think it would actually be an honor and a pleasure to experience an expert at work. I mean, it would be like watching Michael Jordan in his prime. The great ones only come around once in a life time...and Superhead is the G.O.A.T. when it comes to groupies. Anyway, here is what Ne-Yo had to say when he was asked about hookin up with Superhead.

You know what, when the whole gay rumor [surfaced,] people were telling me, 'You're nobody till they think you're gay,' " he began, explaining another rumor that he subsequently denied. Back in 2003 this rapper was expected to be one of the greats to come out of the East Coast. He had one certified club banger and was featured on several HOT remixes. People keep saying that his sophmore album is going to drop soon, but it never does.

The Hampton Roads chapter of the Coalition of Young Black Professionals(CYBP)held their annual All White Affair in Downtown Norfolk Virginia. The party was CRAZY!!! If anybody is reading this and they have some pics from last night's all white party, hit me up and send them to me so I can post them.So I gotta send a big shout out to everyone from CYBP.If you are interested in an organization that is doing positive things in the community, you need to check them out. Al Gore's Live Earth concert went down yesterday as well. The concert was held over 7 continents, featured more than 100 performers and reached over two billion people. The purpose of the concert was to bring attention to global warming. Now I'm all for stopping global warming, but when is someone gonna have a concert to get these damn gas prices to go down. The New York Post is reporting that Fox Boogie Brown is missing. According to PAGE SIX the rapper hasn't been heard from in over a week. None of Foxy's friends or family have spoken to her recently. Foxy's lawyer told the newspaper that "We're all trying to find Foxy." Foxy was last seen on June 29th while boarding a plane to London. Sources say that Foxy held up the plane for over an hour while she waited for members of her entourage to arrive. Those close to her believe that she may be taken a much needed hiatus, but would still like to speak with her to make sure that she is okay.

The woman who wrote the "Get Money Handbook" for groupies worldwide is back at it. Karinne Superhead Steffans is back at it again. She has penned a brand new tell all book entitled "The Vixen Diaries." You gotta give it to her, she brings new meaning to the phrase "F*ckin for Tracks." In the new book she calls out the people who she has slept with over the past few years including Lil, Wayne, Ne-Yo and Bobby Brown. MTV reports that:

First, she talks about sexual encounters with Lil Wayne and even says Weezy told her about his relationship with Trina in the wake of their breakup and recent onstage appearances together in Miami. "He said he's not back with her," Steffans told King. "Wayne don't claim nothing. The thing is this, what I know about Wayne is, he told me he loved her and that he was good to her."

Her remembrances of Ne-Yo are a little more salacious. Reports about the two of them came out a few weeks ago on blogs such as MissInfo.tv, and Steffans basically confirms the rumors. She claims to have been given Ne-Yo's e-mail address by L.A. radio personality Big Boy with hopes of being in one of the singer's videos. Steffans said they met for the first time recently on the set of Fabolous' "Make Me Better" video and hooked up that night.

Superhead is also featured in the new issue of King Magazine. In this article she says that she thought Lil' Wayne was too young for her and looked like a monkey.

The self proclaimed 'King of the South', T.I., is back with his latest release; T.I. Vs T.I.P. As displayed in the video for the first single, 'Big Shit Poppin', T.I. Provides a window for us to openly view both sides of his dualing personality. The two battle throughout the album. T.I. Being the showbiz side of this artist and T.I.P of course being the street side. This is a great setup for this project and makes it easy to navigate through the tracks. Hits like 'Big Shit Poppin' and 'You Know What It Is' are already in regular rotation, but also watch for possible future hits like 'Watch What You Say To Me'. This joint has a laid back, almost pimped out feel and surprises listeners when none other than Jigga himself hops on the end to assist in bringing it home. The hot colabos don't stop there. My personal favorite, 'Hurt', keeps the album at a level of hype that can only be enhanced by the likes of one Busta Rhyme. Another hot teamup is when T.I. And Eminem get together on 'Touchdown'. Other honorable mentions are 'Respect The Hustle' and 'Raw'. The only criticism is that the Mannie Fresh produced 'Da Dopeman' has a hook that mysteriously sounds a little too close for comfort to a certain 3-6 Mafia song we all know. None the less, this project has much to offer and boasts production from from Just Blaze, Wyclef, Eminem, and other worthy contributors. I fully recommend adding this one to your collection. T.I. Is no doubt going hard at T.I.P. Who wins? Well thats for you to decide!

Lauryn Hill's career continues to spiral down further and further into obscurity. Ms. Hill was performing at a concert in Oakland California last week. When Lauryn came to the stage she was dressed in something similar to what Homie D. Clown would be rocking. The majority of her 90 minutes performance was filled with songs that most audience members were unfamiliar with. Some people cheered, some people booed, and others just sat and watched the train wreck with their mouths open.

HIP HOP REPRESENTS FOR PRINCESS DIANA

The Concert For Diana went down at Wembley Stadium in London on Sunday. The show was held to celebrate the life and legacy of Prince Diana. Sunday would have been her 46th birthday and was also the 10th year anniversary of her death. The event was hosted by here two sons Prince William and Prince Harry, and featured performances from some of the worlds biggest artists. There were over 63,000 fans present at Wembley Stadium for the concert, and it was broadcast to over 500 million homes in over 140 countries.

Hip Hop was represented at the event by Kanye West and Diddy. Check out the performances from the event below and also an interview with Kanye.
