CUUURTIS AND CI-CI?!?!?!?

Here is a screen shot from Ciara's new video" I can't leave him alone" featuring Cuuurtis. Gossip sites have been speculating for months that the two have been an item.

In this particular shot, the two seem very intimate, and from what I hear neither of them had any type of top covering them. If you watched the B.E.T awards you probably noticed that they were sitting beside each other in the front row. Is this a real deal romance, or are the two just stuntin' because Fif has an album coming out later on this summer.

If this is true, I am quite sure that Lil Bow Wow won't be making any more references to Ci-Ci in his songs.

I think this is a great picture, and not to mention I think the "This dude is bout to give it to me" look on Ciara's face is Hot too. I'm sure Bow Wow never made her look like that before.

THE B.E.T. AWARDS BREAKDOWN

As you know the B.E.T. Awards went down in L.A. on Tuesday. Off the jump, let me express my disappointment with the entire Awards Ceremony. The show was WACK. I haven't seen an award show this horrible since I went to the Source Awards in Miami about four years ago.

Each performer used the same live band during their performances, which took away from the songs that we all know and love. Also, there seemed to be a problem with peoples microphones. Certain things weren't as clear as they should have been, and it was obvious that everyone was singing along with a voice track.

Cuuurtis had the absolute worst performance that I have ever seen at an award show. More on that later tho.

I didn't think that Mo'Nique was as funny as she usually is. I've laughed at her more just by watching Charm School on a Sunday night.

But anyway, enough about how much I hated the Awards. Here are some pics and commentary of what went donwn..Don't worry...more hate to come!!!!

Now onto the actual wack show

Monique opened up the show with a predictable rendition of Beyonce's De Ja Vu

One of her shoes came of and she got L.L. to take off the other one. This was pretty funny
Jennifer Hudson and Jennifer Holiday were the first to actually perform. These two had never met before the awards. This performance was cool. It was good seeing the new school payin homage to the ol' school. Jennifer Hudson also won for Best New artist. Even though she doesn't have an album out yet. hmmmmm......???

I don't know what was goin on with Cuuuurrrtis. He came onto a set which was reminiscent of Club Tao in Las Vegas with the chicks hanging from the ceiling...He came out and I guess people weren't really feeling him...So as the beat to Amusement Park is playing Fif just walks around the stage saying "Come On" and "What The Fu*k Is Up" for the entire first verse of the song. So as the crowd is looking at him like he just lost his rabit ass mind, he finally decides to start rapping the second verse. After the song goes off, Cuuurtis sits down on the stage and says something like "It doesn't matter any more...drink vitaminwater." I guess $400 million will give you that kind of attitude, huh?






By the time Beyonce hit the stage I was already flipping back and forth between the awards and re-runs of Sanford and Son, so I don't know what the whole robot thing was about, but she was lip syncin and I just wasn't feelin' it. Jay-Z was noticeably absent. Matthew Knowles sat in the seat that B.E.T had reserved for Jay.





I do know that Bey introduced Kelly at the end of her performance which I thought was pretty dope since nobody respects Kelly as a solo performer.

T.I.P. FIGHTS LUDACRIS' MANAGER

Reports of a fight between T.I. and Chaka Zulu who manages Luda started cirulating earlier today. Here is the report from MTV news:

T.I. has been saying for months that sometimes he can be two people in one person's body: A calm, cool, collected businessman who can mingle with Hollywood stars and fashion and music moguls at one minute, and then the kind of guy you'd see fighting outside a club.

Well, he wasn't outside a club, but on Sunday afternoon (June 24) at the Sunset Tower Hotel in West Hollywood, California, T.I. was involved in a brawl nonetheless. During a luncheon held by Kevin Liles of Warner Music Group (parent company of T.I.'s label, Atlantic Records), the MC got into a fight with Ludacris' manager Chaka Zulu. According to witnesses, T.I. punched Zulu in the face and a small, brief melee ensued.

The luncheon, called "Make It Happen" (after Liles' book of the same name), was aimed at power brokers and actress Holly Robinson Peete was the guest of honor. Yung Joc, Musiq, Twista, Brandy, Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth and Omar Epps were in attendance, among others.

Ludacris and Zulu are said to have arrived about three hours into the event, with Zulu and Tip's altercation happening shortly after. At press time it was unclear what had sparked the confrontation.

T.I. and Ludacris had been microphone rivals for quite some time before squashing their differences a couple of years back. They were seen being friendly toward each other at MTV News' "Great Day in Atlanta" event (see "A Great Day In Atlanta"), and congratulated each other backstage after the Grammy Awards in February.

On T.I.'s upcoming LP, T.I. Vs. T.I.P., he does say that he had the best rap album of last year even though Ludacris took home the Grammy in that category, but the lyric sounds like nothing more than standard hip-hop bravado.

At press time, representatives for neither party could be reached for comment about the incident.

Aiight, so Essence.com has released the second portion of the interview with Usher's fiance Tameka. In this excerpt, I think Tameka has bitten off more than she can chew by throwing some shots at the Queen of all media, Ms. Wendy Williams. Here is the portion of the interview that has Wendy upset:

Essence.com: You aren't just talked about in cyberspace; you're being shouted out on the airwaves as well, especially by shock jock Wendy Williams.

Tameka Foster: Wendy Williams is obsessed with me. I think that is so sexy to have someone talk about me every day, especially when I don't have a CD, demo or TV pilot. I'm just a stylist and designer and if I can be mentioned in the same breath as Diddy, then I must be doing something right. I think she loves me more than she lets on. I need to make her a part of my marketing team.

Essence.com: Has she ever met you?

T.F.: Yes, I appeared on her show a couple of years ago after meeting her at a fashion party for Rocawear at the Hotel Gansevoort in Manhattan. She invited me to come on her show and talk about my clients. I knew she'd ask me some personal things. When I showed up she jumped right into asking me questions about Usher and his mom and whether or not he is rude to her and if they get along. I didn't go there for that... So her version is that I was drunk and I came to her show to air dirty laundry on Usher. But the truth is she was mad because I wouldn't dish on anybody.

This is gonna be good. Isn't Lil Kim one of 50's "enemies"? We all know how Fif feels about his G-Unit members associating with people that he has beef with.

URSHERS FIANCE SPEAKS OUT

Essence.com has an exclusive interview with Usher's fiance Tameka Foster. In the two part interview, Tameka discusses the rumors of Ursh breaking up her marriage and also addresses those pregnancy rumors as well. Here is an excerpt from the interview:

“Essence.com: Let’s address some of the rumors. Were you creeping with Usher while you were still married and he was still dating TLC’s Chilli?

T.F.: No, it’s not true. For the record, I was legally separated from my husband, to whom I was married to for five years, not ten as many have reported . He knew Usher and I were dating, and he was dating other people. It was really the photographers who were creeping. Usher and I went to St. Bart’s to celebrate my birthday in December 2005 and partied for five days straight all over the island. We weren’t hiding! We didn’t even know we were being photographed until we got back to the States. The funny thing is, my ex-husband was on vacation with his date in the Bahamas and having a good time. We were all chilling.

Essence.com: So Usher is not a home wrecker, as the tabloids suggested?

T.F.: Absolutely not. He was on tour when my marriage was officially over. He had nothing to do with what happened between my husband and me. Between my hectic travel schedule and our personality differences, my ex and I grew apart. There are no hard feelings between us. He is a wonderful father. I don’t have any regrets or anger toward him. We have great, smart, well-rounded children. It’s the media that wants to make it appear as if we have this big nasty beef with each other, and we don’t.

Essence.com: When did your relationship with Usher blossom into romance?

T.F.: In November 2005. What people don’t realize is that Usher and I were friends for nearly seven years and I worked as his personal stylist for five years. I was the only female friend he felt he could talk to. Because I was older, he would often ask me questions to help him understand the mentality of an older woman. He was really into Chilli. And when things began to get shaky in my marriage he was there to listen to me as well. But I want to make this clear: We only began dating when Usher was certain that there was no chance of reconciliation between me and my ex, because who wants to be known for breaking up a family or for sharing a woman?

Essence.com: Bloggers have also reported that you are pregnant with some other man’s child, possibly your ex-husband’s, and that Usher has promised to raise it. Supposedly you two broke up and got back together in February when he found out you were four months pregnant. True or false?

T.F.: That is ridiculous. No, I am not pregnant with my ex-husband’s child. If that were the case, the baby would have been born already. Yes, we had a brief split for about a month, but just to reassess and figure everything out.

Essence.com: Okay. Well, are you pregnant with Usher’s child?

T.F.: Yes, I do plan to have children with Usher. This is the man I love and plan to spend the rest of my life with so why wouldn’t I want to share that bond of bringing another life into this world with him.”

There is reportedly a Tyra Banks sex tape floating around somewhere. The 20 minute video allegedly features an Italian man getting it POPPIN with a woman who looks and sounds similar to Tyra. In 2005 Tyra was linked with Italian Basketball player Giancarlo Marcaccini. I don't know who this dude is but if I see him, I am gonna give home some real hard dap because I know I wanna see Tyra Pop Lock and Drop it!

The Hot 97 Suumer Jam is always the biggest concert of the summer. Summer Jam has always been a "who's who" event filled with all of your favorite Hip Hop, Reggae and R&B acts. You can always count on surprise appearances, great performances and thousands of people from the tri-state area singing and dancing to every song that is performed. This years Summer Jam was no different. With performances by Lil Wayne, Ciara, Diddy along with The Lox and Lil Kim, T-Pain, Swizz Beats...etc...You get the picture. Everybody that you have heard on your radio for the last six months was there.
