Just when I thought hip hop wasn't dead, there seems to be a new dance craze called the "Wu-Tang Slide" that is infiltrating elementary and middle schools around the country. It seems to be a mix between the percalator, the cha cha slide, the laffy taffy,the chicken noodle soup and any other annoying ass dance that has come out in the last ten years. RELL ARRESTED FOR 50 POUNDS OF WEED
I don't know about you, but once a year I say to myself "self...where in the hell is Rell and what is he doing these days" Well I think I may have found the answer. Former Roc-A-Fella Records singer Rell was arrested in a Calhoun County, South Carolina drug bust yesterday. The cops allowed the post office to deliver a package containing 50 pounds of weed to Rell's crib in South Carolina. Rell and two other men were charged with conspiracy to traffic marijuana.
BRANDY COMES OUTSIDE
Brandy finally decided to come outside and get some fresh air this week. TMZ reports that she was spotted Wednesday outside of a bookstore that specializes in New Age and other spiritual books. Brandy has not been seen much since the car crash that she was involved in which killed a 38-year-old woman. The City Attorney has not decided if they will press charges against her in the case. This chick needs to pick up a bible, and not some rooty poot New Age spiritual book.

Sources are saying that The Big Homie Suge Knight was evicted from his luxury condo on Wilshire Blvd in Los Angeles. Word is that two police cars were there when the eviction notice was served and the cops stood by while Suge's stuff was thrown on the street.

T.I. AND TINY SUFFER A LOSS
Sources are saying that T.I.'s babymamma Tiny suffered a miscarriage last night. Tiny was reportedly under a lot of stress due to the break up between her and T.I three days ago. She is now resting in an Atlanta area hospital. Our prayers and condolences go out to this family.

POLICE RAID STUDIO THAT BELONGED TO AKON'S MANAGER
The offices of Block Royal Entertainment were recently raided by police in Jersey City, NJ. Block Royal is a record label/studio that was founded by Akon's slain manager Robert "Screw" Montanesz. AllHipHop is reporting that police claim that the studio was a front for a large drug ring.
Montanez, who was killed in a shoot out in 2004 helped promote and marked Akon's career in the early days.
The six month investigation netted over 700 grams of powered and crack cocaine, worth an estimated $70,000, $30,000 in cash, four handguns, a bulletproof vest, hollow-point bullets and four vehicles.

BUSTA BANNED FROM NYC
The City of New York has prevented Busta Rhymes from filming scenes for his new movie "Order of Redemption in midtown Manhattan" The NYPD feels that having Busta shoot scenes there will "raise public safety concerns." I wonder if this has anything to do with Busta refusing to cooperate with the cops in the murder investigation of his bodyguard.

RON ARTEST LIKES TO BEAT HIS WOMEN
Sacramento Kings forward Ron Artest was arrested Monday after a woman called 911 from his home and told police that she was assaulted. At about 9:30am, the Placer County Sheriffs deputies arrived at artests house where they found the woman suffering from multiple injuries. The woman declined medical attention. Artest was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence, and using force or violence to stop the woman from filing charges.

A judge in Manhattan decided against giving Foxy Brown jail time for violating her probation a few days ago. Foxy was arrested in the Pembroke Pines area of Miami for allegedly assaulting an employee at a local hair shop. The cops said that Fox threw hair glue at the employee, spit on him and also took a swing at one of South Florida's finest. Damn this chick will do ANYTHING to keep her name in the papers. Why doesn't she try droppin a new CD sometime before 2010?!?!?!?
KELIS GETS BOSSY...ON THE COPS!!!!
One half of everyone's favorite hip hop couple has been arrested. Singer Kelis was arrested early Friday morning in Miami. The cops said she was screaming racial obsenities at two female officers who were posing as prostitutes in a sting operation. Kelis decided to show them how "BOSSY" she was as she rushed them and started to scream and shout. She had to be restrained by some of her friends. The cops hit her with two misdemeanor charges for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
